Christopher B. Heald
A Baylor Law School alum, Christopher B. Heald counsels clients in both the uncontested administration of guardianship and probate matters, as well as with probate and guardianship litigation. By focusing on both uncontested and contested matters, Mr. Heald is able to bring an insight into the courtroom of the intricacies involved in the routine administration of probate and guardianship cases. Having a firm grasp on the administration issues enables him to critically examine the difficulties these issues can present for his opponent in court. Likewise, he is able to competently advise his clients in effectively avoiding the potential pitfalls that can arise from these types of cases.
In law school, Mr. Heald focused all of his efforts on pursing a solid education in litigation issues. In pursuit of this focus, Mr. Heald participated in the Baylor Law School Moot Court competitions, as well as the nationally-recognized Practice Court program. These rigorous programs and competitions forced him to sharpen his litigation skills in preparation for a challenging and successful legal career.
Given the litigation focus within Ford & Mathiason, Mr. Heald's background in litigation made him an ideal candidate to join the litigation team at F&M. Since joining Ford & Mathiason in the summer of 2009, Mr. Heald has been able to combine his litigation skills with an increasing knowledge base of probate and guardianship laws. He is quickly becoming a valuable asset to the firm, and he looks forward to a successful career.
