Jason Brower Elected to Board of Attorneys Association

Sep 1, 2008

Ford & Mathiason LLP associate attorney Jason Brower has recently been elected to the Board of Directors of the Disability and Elder Law Attorneys Association, which is a professional group of attorneys dedicated to providing education to attorneys regarding latest news and current trends in the areas of guardianships, trusts, and elder law.

The association was founded in the mid-1990's by a small group of attorneys who recognized the growth in the need for qualified attorneys who work with elderly adults. As a part of the its annual service to the community, the association collects money each year to donate to charity at Christmas, and the association's members work with the Houston Bar Association's annual Will-a-Thon, which provides free estate planning to low-income Houstonians.

Mr. Brower follows in the footsteps of Ford & Mathiason partner Julie Mathiason who served on the Board of the Disability and Elder Law Attorneys Association from 1998 to 2002.
