Don Ford Selected Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America

By Chris Carr
Feb 19, 2007

Ford & Mathiason LLP, the only Texas law firm that specializes exclusively in estate planning, probate and guardianship serving both metro Houston and Dallas, today announced that its managing partner, Houston attorney Don D. Ford III, was recently selected to appear in the first edition of Who's Who of Emerging Leaders.

The directory, published by Marquis Who's Who out of New Providence, N.J., features 25,000 men and women under 40 from across the world who are "achievers" and "exceptionally innovative, forward thinking and dedicated to their field," according to the publisher's Website. The directory was released by Marquis last month.

Ford's inclusion in Who's Who follows his appointment by the Texas Supreme Court earlier this year to serve on the Texas Guardianship Certification Board. Ford is also regularly quoted in Texas news publications as a legal expert and has been selected to appear in the May 2007 issue of Forbes magazine.

"It's an honor to be included in Marquis' inaugural Emerging Leaders directory and join such an elite group of legal and business professionals from around the world," Ford said. "We know that - as Baby Boomers continue to retire and enjoy their golden years - the practice of estate planning will continue to grow at an unprecedented rate, and I'm proud that I can help Boomers have peace of mind financially."

Ford added that his firm, which primarily works with high-net-worth clients, is rapidly expanding to become the only firm of its kind to offer its services statewide.
